How to Get Help With Paying For Sterilization

Dependent upon where you live, there are a number of small or larger groups that can often offer help with paying or sponsoring for a dog or cat to be sterilized. There is also often help to be gained from the municipal camaras or other animal organizations. More information will be soon be posted about the organizations who offer help and the local areas they cover.

If you have a rescue dog or cat, or if you are working with a street dog or cat, always tell the story to the vet and ask for a discount. The vets in Portugal are in support of sterilization and neutering, and many will be more than happy to offer all the help that they are able.
