Fosters
Fosters are greatly valued to offer the dogs a temporary home.
As a foster, all treatments and vetting costs for the dog or cat puppy or kitten will be paid for and food can be provided if necessary. As a foster, you are not being asked to give this animal a permanent home and it will never be expected. By fostering you are able to help more than one animal.
Fostering is a way to temporarily have a dog or cat in your life and is a very rewarding way to help. Let us pair you with the right foster animal, be it small/large, young or old, and for the right length of time.
Before an animal goes to its foster home the animal is first taken to the vet where it begins any treatment it may need.
Often our foster families grow very close to their foster animal, so when an animal leaves its foster family we do our best to keep you informed of the animal’s progress and get you photos and information of the animal in its new home. Without your help – that animal may never have made it to its new happy life.
See our happy homes for a little of the information we have on our happily rehomed animals.
Maggie is just one of our many dogs who was lucky enough to find a foster family and is now in a permanent home.
Maggie was found pregnant living on the streets in the Messines area. Rescued and fostered by Ray and Jan, Maggie has now found her forever family in Berlin where they adore her and she them (and the snow!)
