Armona Island Update
In conjunction with DPDSAA we have been able to sterilise so far on Armona Island 102 cats.
Although we started in February 2020, Covid 19 and its numerous lockdowns and lack of work has affected the planning of this project tremendously.
Out of the 102 cats, 57 were males, and 45 female cats. 45 female cats who will no longer be able to give birth to even more unwanted cats…
There are still some cats to be caught & neutered & returned, but we will keep supporting Fatima and Celia in their quest to have all cats neutered on the Island.
We are all very grateful to DPDSAA for their help and funding of this large project, making the life of the Armona Island cats a better life!
All cats have been rabies vaccinated and microchipped & registered thanks to the Camara of Olhao!
